PRODUCT RELEASE: Bubblebee Industries – The Visor Cap

A baseball-style branded cap, with metal poppers to attach/remove face visor.

Our 100% Cotton baseball cap with face visor uses press studs to attach or remove a clear face shield for safety when working on set. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use when it’s necessary to shield the wearer’s face from spray, splatter, droplets, dust, etc.

The cap is black with an embroidered ‘BBI’ logo on the front panel and the phrase, “MAKING SOUND SOUND BETTER” along the back.

100% COTTON, PERFECT FIT Our baseball cap is made of quality grade 100% cotton material, with an adjustable strap at the back for a perfect fit.

CLEAR, SAFE AND DURABLE FACE VISOR The included face shield is made of clear TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) which is safe, non-toxic and known for its toughness. It is a commonly used material in sporting goods, food processing equipment and medical tubing / (+IV) biomedical apparatus. It is easily cleaned using soap and water.

EASY ON, EASY OFF FACE VISOR The clear face screen attaches using press studs on either side of the cap and screen. This makes for quick attachement or removal depending on your working requirements.

USE WITH HEADPHONES The position of the press studs means you can still use your headphones over the top of the cap and attach or remove the visor without the need to take them off.

PRODUCT RELEASE: Lectrosonics announces the NEW IFBR1B multi-frequency belt-pack IFB Receiver

Models: IFBR1B, IFBR1B-941, IFBR1B-VHF

Wireless IFB (interruptible fold back) systems are used for talent cueing and crew communications in broadcast and motion picture production. In other cases, the IFB system is used by directors and other management to monitor program audio during a production. The IFBR1B receiver provides simplicity and flexibility in a package that is intuitive for untrained users to operate. Despite its tiny size, the new IFBR1B receiver offers excellent performance on par with all of Lectrosonics’ IFB products.

The IFBR1B is housed in a rugged aluminum package. A wire beltclip is included and provides a secure mounting on a wide variety of belts, pockets and fabrics. An optional “clamp style” spring-loaded belt clip is also available: the IFBR1BBCSL. The IFBR1B is powered for over 8 hours by a removeable, rechargeable LB-50 lithium ion battery.

NOTE: The IFBR1B does not ship standard with the single battery charger. To order this unit with a charger, order as a kit: IFBR1B-WITH-CHARGER. The IFBR1B can be dock charged without removing the battery with the optional CHSIFBR1B.

NEW PRODUCT RELEASE: Sound Devices – XL-AES3 Input Expander

The XL-AES is an optional accessory for the Scorpio, 888, and 833 that provides 8 channels of AES3 audio connectivity through four TA3F connectors. Any of the 8 audio channels may be routed to any channel on the mixer-recorder through the standard channel routing matrix.

The XL-AES is the perfect accessory to accommodate additional digital wireless receivers into your 8-Series.

The accessory mounts directly to the expansion port on the mixer-recorder’s top panel and features four heavy-duty TA3F rear facing input jacks in a rugged milled aluminum enclosure. Firmware v3.10 is required to use the XL-AES.

NEW PRODUCT RELEASE: Sound Devices 888 – Portable Production Mixer/Recorder

Meet the 888 – the portable mixer-recorder that’s compact and light enough to use in a bag, yet has the high channel count and power required for mobile cart productions. The  888 is the smallest portable mixer-recorder on the market that offers Dante for sending and receiving audio over Ethernet.

NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT: Tentacle Sync – TRACK E (pocket-sized audio recorder with 32-bit floating point technology)

The Track E is the newest addition the Tentacle Sync family. The audio recorder is nearly as small as the Timecode Sync Generator Sync E, so it can easily fit in your pocket for recording on the go. This allows mobile operation for example as a recorder for a clip-on microphone eliminating the need for a radio-link.
