Bubblebee Industries – Invisible Lav Covers Big Bags now available!

The Invisible Lav Covers are a range of lavalier mounting materials covering all manner of lav mic hiding techniques used in film and television production sound. The Invisible Lav Covers – Original, Moleskin and Fur Outdoor have traditionally been available in boxes of 30 mounts, 10 of each colour, including Invisible Lav Tape, a unique double-sided mounting tape with a pre-cut window for optimal transparency, less tape noise and to protect your mic’s grid from a buildup of glue.

They are now available in Big Bags, good for at least 120 mounts each, in a single colour.

The Big Bags include 1 colour, either black, beige or white. They are packaged in recyclable and reusable ziplock storage pouches, which are transparent for easy identification of the contents.

* Please note that the Invisible Lav Tape is not included in the Invisible Lav Cover Big Bags and sold separately

The Fur Outdoor, Original and Moleskin tools focus on invisibility, transparency, noise reduction and wind protection. Choose the correct Invisible Lav Cover for each situation and keep making sound sound better!

Announcing VIVIANA DOTS – Super sticky hypoallergenic tape

Viviana dots are stickers made of a super soft foam in between a super sticky and hypoallergenic tape that you can use on skin and fabrics without leaving any mark.

The 1 millimetre foam gives a super soft structure to the tape and it also creates a little layer between fabric and Lav that helps to reduce rustling noise.

Available in round, rectangular or square stickers and are compatible with BBI lav concealer, URSA mini mount and DPA concealer.

You can use Viviana Dots also with any kind of fur and the tape doesn’t ruin the fur once you remove it.

Ambient Recording launches the NanoLockit Logger

We are excited to finally release the Logging Feature of the NanoLockit to the public. After a successful Kickstarter campaign last summer we decided to add the logging functionality by default in the Lockit Firmware.

From now on the NanoLockit will not only help sound recordists and editors, but also directors, video journalists and documentary filmmakers.

Any NanoLockit can both be used as regular Lockit Timecode generator AND Logger. So, all older NanoLockits can have this exciting new feature – once updated to firmware version 6.30.

FAQ on the Logging Feature

Can I upgrade regular NanoLockits to work as Loggers?
Yes! After updating the NanoLockits to Lockit Firmware v6.30 they can be used for logging. In addition you need our new NanoLockit Logger Software (Mac or Windows) to download the markers. The Premiere Pro Lockit Panel is available for free on Adobe Exchange (Adobe Creative Cloud Account required)

How do I use the logging function?
You can find a detailed tutorial on our website.

Who can use it?

Bubblebee Industries – The Invisible Lav Covers – Now available in three colours

Since we first launched the product, we’ve been continuously asked about producing them in colours other than black too. We’re happy to say we’ve perfected the colours and as of next week, new shipments of BBI-ILC-30 will include the new boxes, with 3x black, 3x beige, and 3x white covers.

These covers are reusable 3-4 times each, so the BBI-ILC-30 pack is good for 30 mounts minimum.

The Invisible LAV Covers allow you to easily mount and hide your Lavalier microphones directly on the skin or on clothes. 

Each package of Invisible LAV Covers consists of 9 pieces of mesh fabric and 30 pieces of our high quality Invisible LAV Tape.

The transparent double-sided Invisible Lav Tape keeps your microphone and fur fabric solid in place on one side and sticks directly to the skin or to clothes on the other side allowing the microphone to be safely and securely mounted almost anywhere. It’s all about being creative: under the collar, next to a buttonhole, or under the clothes in the chest area.

The tape also has a small piece cut out in the middle of the tape, which is to be saved and used for fixing.

While the fabric can be used up to four times, the tape must be replaced after each use. Since the Invisible Lav Covers package comes with 30 pieces of tape, you will be able to do 30 mounts per pack.
